I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. I thoroughly enjoyed my December Substack hiatus and I feel refreshed and ready to get the ball rolling on our Read With Me Series beginning January 6th.

This month, we will be reading Valeria Luiselli’s novella Faces in the Crowd. To join in the fun, upgrade to paying subscriber.

This is a book about a writer working on a book about a translator living in New York, hoping to help the world discover the Mexican poet, Gilberto Owen. It’s a book about Modernism, ghosts, subways and identity. And, it’s only 146 pages long!
