My trip to Santa Fe has me behind on my Festival of Books reportage.

The highlight of that weekend was that my podcast friends, Amy and Carrie from The Perks of Being A Book Lover Podcast, flew out to Los Angeles all the way from Kentucky to hang out with me and attend the festival.

We had never met in person before, but it was like seeing old friends. The internet is so wonderfully weird that way. We had a lovely lunch in Santa Monica, and I took them to my favorite Independent Bookstore, Diesel Books.

We pre-selected our book panels and hit the festival on USC’s campus bright and early on Saturday morning.

I’m going to share a bit about the panels I went to as well as whether or not I plan on reading the panelists’ books .
