The National Book Awards are happening on Wednesday, November 15th at 8 PM ET and you are invited!
That’s right, book lovers everywhere can cook up their own fancy meal at home and attend the ceremony virtually. I’ve got my ticket!
Levar Burton is hosting the awards this year (after the writers’ strike kerfuffle with Drew Barrymore shook up the hosting lineup.)
And Oprah will be there too! Other special guests include poet Rita Dove, and City Lights bookseller, Paul Yamazaki.

You read one more than I did. It was · A First Time for Everything by Dan Santant
I did read This Other Eden by Paul Harding. An important read based on a true event and I will hear the author speak to our book club next mo th. I have so many questions after reading his book.
